Platycerium Bifurcatum also known as the Staghorn Fern due there unique antler shaped leaves.
This fern would naturally grow under a dense rain forest canopy so requires little light to survive. It is an ephiphyte, which means in the wild it grows on the side off trees, which would provide nutrients for the plant.
The fern draws moisture through humidity in the air so perfect perfectly suited to a bathroom.
The base of the plant is covered with round heart shaped leaves. These are shield leaves and are to protect the plant. They naturally turn brown as the plant develops and should be left to keep the plant healthy.
